💡

In the first few weeks of each term, students will set goals for themselves for all of these activities, to ensure they are intentional in this learner-driven, freedom-based model.

☝️

We also plan to make children’s progress visible to families through a digital kanban board where students report projects and goals in flight, completed, and up next.

Other Core Aspects of Our Educational Structure

Journeys

"Freedom, with guidance and guardrails" is perhaps the most concise way to explain Wilderland's approach to self-directed education. To help provide that guidance, Wilderland features its own set of gamified goalposts to celebrate students reaching milestones. These are all optional tracks to provide ideas and direction to a student's course of study.
